To the Editor:
For my next State Senator, I want someone who speaks about purpose with authenticity. Someone with a genuine interest in his neighbors and their well-being. Someone who can listen without preconceptions or interruptions. Someone with empathy for others.
I long for someone who will work to restore faith in the governing process. Someone I can trust. Someone who will keep his word. Someone who is not simply a mouthpiece for someone else’s agenda.
Mark Legvold is a person who exhibits those qualities that I value. He is a farmer, a veteran and a former teacher. I believe that he will work to restore the recent draconian cuts to Medicaid. He will push back on the targeted actions of the federal government against the state of Minnesota. He will do all he can to protect our waters from predatory developers. Mark will resist the racial attacks on our immigrant families and he will be a voice for farmers and others in rural Minnesota.
It’s not an overstatement to say that this election is critical for the future of Minnesota and all Minnesotans. I want Mark Legvold to represent me and my neighbors in Senate District 58. Please join me in voting for Mark Legvold on November 3.
